Melissa Irving, M.S., CCC-SLP, SLS
Melissa graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and received her master’s degree in Communication Sciences from Mercy College.
Melissa began her career working with adults in a sub-acute rehabilitation center focusing on treating language disorders, swallowing disorders, apraxia, aphasia, and dysarthria. Melissa also spent time working at a school for the deaf in New York.
Melissa currently works at a pubic school, serving special needs students from 3-10 years old in Northern NJ. Melissa has been working for Infinite Therapy Solutions since December of 2014. She recently completed training for level one PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets).
Additional trainings and seminars Melissa attended include: childhood apraxia of speech, early intervention, autism, and assistive technology. Melissa is a member of ASHA, NJ certified, and NY certified. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting family and friends, traveling, and doing yoga.
